i must say

with all due respect to former president, Dr Wee Kim Wee, there are still some things i must say with regards to what i see and hear these few days following his departure...

frankly speaking, i only came to know him better, after his departure, as there are so many people and programmes saying and reporting on what he had done in his days. i still remember vividly how i came into contact with him when i was a pri 1 school boy and he was a president.

then, i had totally no idea who he was and what he had done, only probably that he live in istana(which is also not true, i only know when i grow up that he prefer to stay at his own home with his family) and that i see him during national day. that's all i think.

what pisses me off is i have heard remarks from secondary schools' representative saying how they miss him, how he was a kind, friendly and approachable president, etc..

the thought that came into my mind was these school reps are super-intelligent children as they already know about politics at a young age of 3? or they are just hypocrites whom say it for the sake of saying it. r they sure they really know him?

frankly i still don't understand why will people only step out to praise one's efforts after he had pass away? just like the death of the Pope and taiwanese artiste Ni Mi Ran as well. do they really meant what they say? or r they just trying to be good people and say all the good things about them since they had already left us?

i wondered...
